"As we move farther and farther away, the earth decreases in size. Eventually, it shrinks to the size of a marble, the most beautiful marble you can imagine. "
-James Irwin, Apollo 15.

verything we know happens in this small sphere, from the most important events in our history to the most insignificant routine. Although we marvel at the nature of the phenomena that surround us, we humans are basically a collection of carbon dust (83% of our composition is carbon and oxygen) that wanders the earth proclaiming itself the owner of everything without thinking about how small we really are. Observing the earth from a distance, we can contemplate ourselves as a species. This perspective teaches us how important it is to stand back to observe what is happening and also what really matters.

We are a cluster of dust in an immense universe that is constantly expanding, we are a biological blinker for the planet, we are the smallest part of what we understand.
